Dava Marketing LLC, doing business as Dava Studios ("Dava," "we," "us," "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit davastudios.com (including davamarketing.com, which redirects here), fill out a form, book a call, become a member, receive an email from us, or interact with our ads on other platforms, and how we use, share, and protect it.

1. Information you give us

Forms and calls. When you submit our "Book a discovery call" form, book a call, or speak with our team, we collect what you provide: name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, your consent choices, and anything you tell us on the call or in follow-up messages.

Partners. If you start a partnership with us we also collect billing details (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers), your onboarding preferences, and the project materials you share for editing or design, such as raw footage, images, audio, brand assets, scripts, and any platform access you choose to grant us.

Correspondence. We keep records of emails, messages, and call notes exchanged with you.

2. Information we collect automatically

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to collect information about how you use the site: pages viewed, time on page, referring URL and campaign source, IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions such as form submissions and call bookings. See our Cookie Policy for details. The tools currently in use include:

• Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads measure site traffic and the performance of our Google ads, including conversion tracking on form submissions and call bookings. Manage ad settings at adssettings.google.com or opt out of Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Facebook and Instagram) measure the results of our Meta ads, may send conversion events from our server to Meta, and let us show ads to people who visited our site. Manage your preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences/ad_settings.
• OpenAI advertising pixel (ChatGPT ads) measures whether visits from our ChatGPT ads lead to a form submission.
• Calendly processes any call you book through an embedded scheduler.
• Stripe processes partnership payments and invoices.
• Spam protection. Our forms use built-in protections (rate limiting, timing checks, and hidden honeypot fields) that process your IP address to block automated abuse. No third-party captcha service is used.
• YouTube, Vimeo, and other embedded media may set cookies when you play embedded videos.

3. Information from other sources

Ad platforms. If you fill out a lead form inside a Meta ad or another platform, that platform sends us the information you entered.

Business outreach. Dava Studios is a business-to-business service. We may obtain professional contact information (name, business email, channel name, publicly available channel statistics) about creators, managers, and businesses from public sources, platform profiles, and licensed data providers so that we can reach out about our services. We use this information only for business outreach, include an opt-out in every message, and honor opt-outs promptly.

Public information. We may look at your public channel, videos, and social profiles to understand your content before a call.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

• respond to enquiries, schedule and hold calls, and send proposals;
• provide, personalize, bill for, and improve our services, including editing and designing your content;
• send service messages such as onboarding, delivery notifications, invoices, and account notices;
• send marketing emails or texts about Dava Studios services and content, with your consent where required; you can unsubscribe at any time;
• measure, optimize, and target our advertising on Google, Meta, ChatGPT, and other platforms;
• build advertising audiences of people similar to our site visitors and clients;
• analyze how the site is used and fix problems;
• detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it in these ways:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf: website hosting and forms, Stripe (payments), Calendly (scheduling), Google Workspace and cloud storage, project management and file transfer tools used to handle your footage and requests (for example Slack, Asana, and cloud storage), our CRM and lead management tools, email and SMS delivery providers, and analytics tools. Each may use your data only to provide services to us.
• Advertising platforms (Google, Meta, OpenAI) as described in section 2. Some U.S. state laws treat this as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You can opt out as described in section 7.
• Our team, including employees and contractors who edit, design, and manage your projects, all of whom are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dava, our clients, or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
• With your direction. For example, when you ask us to upload content to your channel or share deliverables with your team.

6. Marketing emails and texts

If you give us your phone number in a form, you agree that we may call or text you about your enquiry and our services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. We will still send service messages related to an active membership.

7. Your choices and rights

Cookies and pixels. Block or clear cookies in your browser, or use the platform opt-outs linked in section 2 and in our Cookie Policy.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information / Opt out of targeted advertising. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states with similar laws can opt out of the sharing of their personal information for targeted advertising by emailing support@davastudios.com with the subject "Do Not Share." We also honor Global Privacy Control browser signals where required by law.

Access, correction, deletion, and portability. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to receive a copy of it. Email support@davastudios.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may appeal a decision by replying to our response. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Sensitive information. We do not ask for or intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, health data, or precise geolocation.

8. Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up and records. We keep member data for the length of the membership plus the period required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, generally up to seven years for billing records. Access to project files requires an active membership; footage and project files are removed from active storage after a membership ends, though archival copies of deliverables may be retained as described in our Terms. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to each platform's settings.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls, encrypted connections, and reputable third-party providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you give us access to your accounts, use the minimum permissions needed and revoke access when our work ends.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses and adult creators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email support@davastudios.com and we will delete it.

11. International visitors

We are based in the United States and process data here. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the site you consent to this transfer.

12. Third-party links

The site links to platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X, and to client channels. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13. Changes

We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted on the site or emailed to active members.
