This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones davastudios.com uses, why, and how you can control them. It works together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Pixels, tags, scripts, and local storage work in a comparable way and we refer to all of them as "cookies" here. Some are set by us (first-party cookies) and some by our providers (third-party cookies). Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay for a set period.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. These include cookies that keep the site secure, remember your cookie choices, protect our forms from spam (our own rate-limiting and timing checks, which set no cookies), and power embedded tools such as our Calendly scheduler.

Analytics. Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) tells us which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and how they move through the site so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and IP addresses are anonymized where the platform supports it.

Advertising. These let us measure our campaigns and show relevant ads to people who visited the site:

  • Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing
  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Facebook and Instagram)
  • OpenAI advertising pixel (ChatGPT ads)

They record actions such as page views, form submissions, and call bookings and may match them to your account on that platform.

Functional. Set by embedded media players (for example YouTube and Vimeo) and other tools that remember your settings or play content.

3. Third parties

Third-party cookies are governed by each provider's own privacy and cookie policies:

  • Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, YouTube): policies.google.com
  • Vimeo: vimeo.com/privacy
  • Meta: facebook.com/privacy/policy
  • OpenAI: openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
  • Calendly: calendly.com/privacy
  • Stripe: stripe.com/privacy

Retention periods vary by provider, from the length of your session up to about two years.

4. Managing cookies

  • Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies through your browser's settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work, including forms and scheduling.
  • Platform opt-outs. Google: adssettings.google.com and tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Meta: facebook.com/adpreferences/ad_settings. Industry opt-outs: optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com.
  • Do Not Share. Email support@davastudios.com with the subject "Do Not Share" to opt out of advertising cookies used for targeted ads, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Global Privacy Control. We honor GPC browser signals where required by law.
  • Consent. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link on the site.

5. Changes

We may update this policy as the tools we use change. Updates are posted here with a new effective date.
