The team behind the creators you watch.

In 2017, our co-founder Vale won an editing competition, and the prize was a plane ticket. He moved to LA to work full-time with his favorite YouTuber, living in their content house. Over the year, they collaborated with top creators like Yes Theory and Logan Paul, and saw the same problem play out again and again: every creator, no matter how big, struggled to find great editors and thumbnail designers. In 2017, there was no easy way to do it. Winning a contest and moving across the country shouldn't be the hiring process.

So in 2019, Vale and co-founder David built Dava to fix it: a simple way for creators to hire elite editors, thumbnail designers, and build their dream team. And it took off.

We've since worked with some of the world's largest creators, including Jake Paul, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Brooke Monk, and Red Bull, plus thousands more. Along the way, Dava became the leader in the creator editing & thumbnail design space.
